A tag. :)

I got a tag! (There is always a first for everything.)

So... I must find the novel closest to me (It must be the one closest to you no matter how strange)... Okay got my book. I had to search far for that one because we don't keep many books in the kitchen.

Turn to page 123 and copy out the first four sentences.

...ago, when they sold all they had, and followed the apostles of the church. I therefor thought that we might, in old scottish phrase, "let byganes be byganes," and begin apon a new account. Yet I resolved, like a skillful general, to reconnoitre a little before laying down any precise scheme of proceeding, and in the interim I determined to preserve my incognito.

Not sure what "reconnoitre" means. I'll look it up. It basically means recognize.

So I'm going to tag anybody who wants to be tagged which is everybody so your tagged. :)

:)

April fools is coming up! Last year apart from the usuall tricks ("Guys there's a goat in the yard!") We went to The Mall with (Not sure how these friends feel about names and such online so I'll call them Sarah and Kayla.) Sarah and Kayla and had a time warp.

Basically, what we did was we performed what appeared to be random acts. exe. In walks a to young girls and they seat them selves at a table and began to talk. Next a woman and a child sit down at another table one the child takes a sip of water and says they need to go to the bathroom. At the same time two people walk up to a Pizzaria and argue about what there going to order. Two more people run in and take the the first to young ladies out to see a dress they found. The woman takes the child to the bathroom and the people ordering decide to try a different food stand. The action is repeated. Over and over and over again. It was VERY amusing to see the people becoming very confused or guessing at there next move. :D

Well we sent out invitations to do the same thing this year and hopefully plenty of people will show up. One of the things we really need is grown ups. Teenagers acting odd is norm but if we have grown ups that upps everything. It's a hard fact of life people take grown ups more seriously. The thing is grownups are so busy. :(

So cross your fingers for us!

hmmm.... None of these posts have themes....

Helllllllloooo FWIENDS!

I have news today! Big news. A mysterious personage delivered us food Tuesday night well we all slept soundly in our beds. Lots of food. Apples and Bananas and chicken and cereal and bread and speghetti and milk and orange juice et cetera. It's very exciting. All this food was sorely needed and we are incredibly grateful for it.

School is still enjoying the luxury of taking up all my time. But it's not hard currently. Even science is a gentle labor. Enjoyable actually. Math is easy, it's always easy when you first start a new book and it's review, review, review. Still reading the The Count of Monte Cristo I'm about half way through the second volumn with ab out 300 more pages to go. Thee book is incredibly complex and the movie leaves out so much of the story! Like Maximillain and Valentine's love story is completely left out. My handwriting is improving but it still doesn't look to great.

Oh, and this is something I'm really excited about. Picture twin boys, Charlie and Nathaniel, Almost a year old. There just the most adorable little babies ever. They both have two little teeth on the bottom and are very quick to smile. I get to babysit them! I've babysat them once before with Kelsey when they were about seven months old and I've been dying to baby sit them sense. There mom said that she might be doing something on Thursday!

Cross your fingers for me!

a little dialogue exchange

So I wrote some dialogue for a contest I had heard about and then I found out that the contest has to feature certain categories and prompts and such so I have this short exchange and nothing to do with it. So here. You read it so I don't feel like I wasted time.

"Hey."

" 'Hey' "

...

"I'm sorry. I just...."

"Your okay sit down."

"Okay. Look I'm sorry about you and..."

"Clare?"

"Claire? Isn't that a girls name in New Zealand?"

"australia."

"Whatever. It's all the same to me... Don't laugh."

"Short for Clarence. Geeky name, I know."

"Yeah... ugh, I never should have come I'll go-"

"No please- I want you to stay. I'm not much for talking but I want somebody to talk to so..."

"'l'll stay."

"Thank you."

....

"Clare, he's a lier."

"What?"

"He was lying about all of his plans to finish collage and marry me. He had a girl friend back on campus."

"I'm sorry I didn't know. I-"

"Let me finish. I was so angry when I found out. I told him I never wanted to see him again and he could make a blasted hole in the ocean for all I care. and he.... well he did."

I wonder if I should have caught it of here... It seems like there's more everytime I read it.

Spring is a million miles of... :(

It feels like it should be spring right now. The warm sun and the sound of children playing out side evoke images of green grass and trees bursting with bloom. I think I'm going to purposely avoid looking out the windows and just imagine the green grass and dandylions and fresh cool air to breath and all the other wonderful things that come with spring. I'm going to pretend like spring is here for the day 'cause it just feels like a spring day.

I love spring it is so gorgeous and it comes at just the right time. I wonder if I would love it as much if it fell between summer and fall because I wouldn't be as desperate for something green and alive. Spring is love inseasonafied. My birthday is in May! I'm going to be fifteen years old. I feel like I'm going to be just so much older when my birthday comes. I feel that way every year though.

Autumn is my other favorite season. Autumn makes me think of collapsing into piles of leaves and reading the castaway by William Cowper and that desperate poem that begins my heart is a handful of dust. Autumn is a incredibly romantic time of year. The sound of the leaves flying away from me when I kick them and the brisk chill in the air makes me feel more alive then ever and ready to conquer whatever hinders my path.

And another thing I love so much about those seasons that breach winter and summer and summer and winter is there diversity of weather. Winter is always Cold and summer is always hot but Autumn and spring bring all kinds of warm and cold weather. Monotony is none-existent.

"Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather." ~ John ruskin
